Young adults visit to Dunnottar Baptist Church

I wanted to take a moment to share about a recent visit that a few of us young adults had the opportunity to make to Dunnottar Baptist Church. It was truly a memorable and meaningful experience for all of us.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with such warmth and friendliness – it honestly felt like walking into a room full of extended family. The way we were welcomed made a deep impact, and we immediately felt at home.

The church service itself was incredibly uplifting. The message was centered around the challenge and importance of sharing the gospel. What stood out to me most was how the speaker emphasized the dedication it takes to carry out the mission of spreading the good news. It reminded me just how serious and rewarding our calling is as believers. I left the service feeling encouraged and challenged in the best way.

After the service, we stayed for some wonderful fellowship. The love and generosity of the church was so evident – not just in words, but in action. We were included in everything, and their hospitality was overflowing. It was beautiful to witness and to be part of.

Some of our group jumped in to help wash the dishes, and a few of the guys joined the team in counting the offering. Others spent time chatting and connecting with members of the church. These small moments of service and conversation really helped build meaningful connections, and it was clear that we were forming friendships that could grow in the future.

I’m truly grateful for the opportunity the young adults from Benoni Baptist Church had to visit Dunnottar Baptist Church. Their kindness left a lasting impression, and I’m looking forward to the next chance we have to go back and continue building that relationship.
