Last night, during our prayer focus, a vehicle was stolen from our church premises. That grieves us. And it sobers us. We live in a fallen world, and we must respond with both faith and wisdom. We take the protection of our people’s property seriously. And we will take clear and responsible steps to prevent this from happening again. Obviously, we will need to be more vigilant. Not fearful. But alert. Trusting the Lord. While caring well for one another and for what He has entrusted to us.
Here are the security measures now in place. For this evening. For Friday evening. And for Sunday. The main gate will be opened and manned from 5:30 pm. The main gate will be closed and locked at 6:10 pm. If you arrive after that time, please press the button at the office gate. We will hear it in the fellowship hall. When you need to leave the premises, please use the office gate. CMS has kindly agreed to provide patrols in the evenings on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. From this Sunday morning onward, a CMS patroller will also be on duty during our morning and evening services. We are grateful for their support as we strengthen our procedures.
All the practical planning aside, please do come and participate in our focused prayer this evening, 6:00-7:00pm. Andre will lead us as we pray specifically for Biblical teaching at Benoni Baptist Church. We will pray for clarity. For faithfulness. For fruit. Let us gather. Let us seek the Lord together. And let us do so with confidence in His care and His purposes.

Thank you Pastor Mark for upgrading the security
