How you doing spiritually? I want you to grow. One of the most fruitful disciplines is gathering with other believers around God’s Word. Bible study helps us learn God’s Word. His will. And His way. Not in isolation. But in community. It is also a place of discipleship. Talking with mature saints who can encourage us. Correct us. And spur us on. And it is a place of fellowship. Real relationships. Real friendships. Lives intersecting around truth. Growth rarely happens alone. God uses His Word. And He uses His people.
There are plenty of Bible study opportunities at Benoni Baptist Church. On Monday evenings, there is a ladies Bible study on Zoom from 7:00-8:30pm, led by Barbara Wade. On Tuesday afternoons, at 2:30 pm, there is a Boksburg Bible study at Gary and Yvonne’s home, led by Derek Rusch. On Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm at church, we gather for praise and prayer, then break into smaller groups, led by Mark Penrith, David Somerset, and Liezl Penrith. On Thursday mornings from 10:30-12:00pm, ladies meet in the coffee bar, studying God’s Word book by book, led by Cindy Muhl. On Fridays, Saints over Sixty meet from 10:00-11:30am, led by Bernard Warder. And youth from 4:00-5:30pm, led by Lance Long. And young adults from 7:00-9:00pm, led by Lance Long. Monthly studies include a Saturday men’s Bible study led by Trevor Whitehead. And a Saturday ladies Bible study led by Liezl Penrith.
