I love Sunday services. I loved this past Sunday’s service. The teaching. The worship. The fellowship. The opportunity for evangelism. My heart rejoiced. My spirit lifted. I hope yours did too.
This coming Sunday, 30 November, will be a day of celebration. We will witness gospel transformation. Ivy and Martha will go through the waters of baptism. Two lives. Two testimonies. One Saviour. The wonder of grace.
I will preach from Romans 13:1-7. The passage speaks to the believer’s relationship with the state. It is timely. It is weighty. There is a relevant application to current proposals to regulate religion in South Africa. God’s Word speaks with clarity. With authority. With sufficiency.
Project NOMAD will join us on Sunday. They produce short biblical videos on South African issues. They will film the service. They will capture our worship. They will gather material for outreach. Video of our choir will promote the Christmas Eve carol service. Video of the sermon will help us contribute to the public debate.
So bring your Sunday smile. Sing loudly. Pray deeply. Welcome warmly. Invite your family and friends. And remember why we gather. We seek to reach Benoni with the gospel. And we seek to equip all for life.
Soli Deo Gloria. To God alone be glory.

Thank you pastor Mark for your dedication in bringing God’s word to us
