In his letter to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul wrote that Christ gave the church pastors and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.
Notice, the text does not say that the pastor does all the ministry. It does not say the elders do all the ministry. It says the leaders equip you so that you can do the ministry. The goal is not a full pew on Sunday. The goal is a mature church.

Join a Community Life Group
The Christian life is not a solo venture. The body has many parts, and we need one another. Community Life Groups connect you with people who want to grow. We meet weekly to discuss the sermon, apply it, pray, and encourage one another.
