Sunday prayer meeting notes

God is for us

Welcome and opening scripture (5 minutes)

This morning we heard this truth: God sovereignly elects apart from heritage or efort, so forsake self merit, and fee to Christ’s cross. So tonight, we come to pray like people who are secured by sovereign grace. People who are confident. People who are loved.

Scripture reminder: Ephesians 1:3-6, Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him. He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One.

Opening prayer: Thank God for His Son. Thank Him that we are secure. Ask Him to hear our prayers tonight.
