God’s Hidden Plan Revealed

13 October 2025

Paul writes, “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited” (Romans 11:25). Mark opens the sermon noting, “God’s timing is perfect, even when we cannot see the end from the beginning.” Israel’s hardening is temporary. The Gentiles’ inclusion is not by chance. Paul lifts the curtain on a divine plan that stretches far beyond human sight. “We must trust the unseen workings of God,” Mark urges, “even when the logic escapes us.”

Mark reminds us, “God is working, whether we feel it or not.” God’s plan protects us from pride. When we grasp that we are part of a larger story, humility rises naturally. Paul calls it a mystery, not because it is hidden from all, but because the full scope cannot be comprehended by human eyes. “The wisdom of God surpasses our understanding,” Mark emphasizes. In moments of doubt, we are invited to remember that His purposes never fail, even when circumstances appear confusing or unfair.

“This is a call to trust, not to despair,” Mark insists. Just as Israel’s present blindness will yield to future restoration, our challenges have a purpose in God’s broader plan. “Do not demand immediate answers,” he says, “rest in the certainty of His sovereignty.” When we submit to God’s timing, frustration transforms into patience, and fear gives way to peace. Paul’s words remind us, “Through their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel jealous” (Romans 11:11). The divine design is intricate, but it is purposeful.

Mark presses the point home for daily living. “Model this trust for your children,” he advises, “show them that faith is believing when we do not yet see.” A home that acknowledges God’s unseen work becomes a laboratory of humility and dependence. Children learn not just to repeat verses but to experience the stability of trusting a God who orchestrates history. “Faith is active, not passive,” Mark affirms, “it chooses obedience and trust, even amid uncertainty.”

Sovereign Lord, thank You that Your purposes are never delayed or derailed. Teach me to trust Your hidden work and to rest in Your wisdom when I cannot see the outcome. Keep my heart humble before You. Amen.
