The tomb is empty! That is not a metaphor. That is not a hopeful wish. That is history. Jesus Christ walked out of death. His bones are not in Jerusalem. The grave could not hold Him. And that single fact changes everything.
For the believer, the resurrection is victory over sin. Over shame. Over the final enemy called death. But the resurrection is more than a past event. It is a present engine. A future guarantee. The same power that lifted Christ from the grave now drives our church forward.
What is our vision? Not a building. Not a Sunday show. A movement.
We are planting churches. We are reaching Benoni. Street by street. Home by home. The resurrection means death does not win. So neither do we retreat. Neither do we coast. Neither do we play small.
To our visitors this morning, welcome. You walked into a church with a pulse. We do not preserve a museum. We launch a mission. We want you to see people who believe the grave could not hold their King. And that same King has work for us in this city.
To our members, remember our vision. Remember the plant. The resurrection is our fuel. Without it, we are just a nice club with good morals. But with it, we are an unstoppable force. Your giving. Your prayers. Your feet on the ground. They matter. Because the risen Christ is building His church. And He invited us along.
Will we drift? No. Will we hide? No. Will we bend the knee to comfort? Absolutely not. Christ is risen. Thus, the church advances. Thus Benoni gets the gospel. Thus we plant. We water. We trust God for the growth.
Come ready on Sunday. Bring your neighbour. Bring your doubt. Bring your joy. The tomb is empty. And our vision is full.
We believe we will be ready when our membership reaches 265.
