If you missed the special general meeting last Sunday, I want to ensure you’re kept in the loop. We had 70 members present, meaning we comfortably met our quorum. The meeting was very short, with only one item on the agenda.
Dave Somerset presented a proposal on behalf of the executive. Can we go ahead and paint the remainder of the brickwork in the main hall? After a very brief discussion, we put it to a vote. 63 members voted yes, and 7 voted no, so the proposal passed comfortably.
Thank you to everyone who attended the bring-and-share and communion afterward. The fellowship was sweet, and the worship meaningful. Please mark your calendars for our annual general meeting on Sunday, 20 September, which will take place right after the morning service.
